My travel: From Ushuaia i took a boat called 'ushuaia' long about 80 meters that , with about other 60 turist, do a cruise to antarctica.After 2 days we arrive on antartic land.I don't have words to describe the beatiful nature landscape that i saw in this travel. This trip is one of the most intersting area that i saw in my life. Informations: Antarctica is Earth's southernmost continent, overlying the South Pole. Situated in the southern hemisphere and largely south of the Antarctic Circle, Antarctica is surrounded by the Southern Ocean. At 14.4 million kmē, it is the fifth-largest continent in area after Asia, Africa, North America, and South America; in turn, Europe and Australia are smaller. Some 98% of Antarctica is covered by ice, which averages at least 1.6 km in thickness. |
